Google reviews for Oteil Burbridge at Revolution Hall. 4 stars and up. Google doesn’t verify every review, and it removes fake ones when it finds them.
One of my favorite venues in Portland. It is part of the old Washington High School that was converted to an office building. Revolution Hall is the school auditorium that is renovated beautifully. There are seats in the balcony and on the floor optionally for some shows. Ticket sales vary per show for reserved seating or GA (sometime separate for GA balcony or GA floor). The open dance floor (seats removed) is on a slant. If you can not stand without sitting down for 3-4 hours, then pay close attention to the type of ticket you buy. For GA balcony, get in line before the doors open to make sure you get a seat. The venue has easy access to clean restrooms. There are multiple bars and a pub with food in the building. There is parking ($) at the building. The staff is friendly. I've enjoyed all the shows I've seen there.
One of my favorite small venues in town. I’ve seen all kids of shows here, Todo, HUMP, Randy Newman. The rooftop bar has stunning views on a clear day. The little restaurant downstairs is often closed but the burger place on the first floor is good. They will deliver to the roof!
Super cool venue. The Show Bar has food and you can bring drinks in to the concert hall. The food was actually really good, great burger and toasted raviolis. Loved it!
